* What is Bronze Metal Clay ?
Bronze Metal clay is a medium consisting of very small particles of the metal bronze, mixed with an organic binder and water for use in making jewelry, beads, and small sculptures. Originating in Japan in 1990, bronze metal clay can be shaped just like any soft clay, by hand or using molds.
After drying, the clay can be fired in a variety of ways such as in a kiln. The binder burns away, leaving the pure sintered bronze.
EX VOTO Flaming Heart/ Sacred Heart - SYMBOL OF ETERNAL LOVE The flaming heart of Jesus milargo is an ambiguous symbol. Purely religious on the surface, it openly indicates faith in the Catholic church. But in fact it is one of many images that straddle the line between luck, protection and religion and which use the iconography of actual deities as lucky charms.
Milagros means " Miracle" Love is a miracle and a blessing. Furthermore, because of the association of the heart with love spells and love charms, it can partake of romantic or even sexual connotations.
Finally, as with all milargos, this one may be a signification of a body part -- a broken heart to be mended or a case of cardiac failure to be healed.
The Sacred Heart is one of the most common motifs in religious folk art created in Mexico. The idea is that the physical heart of Jesus is a symbol of his divine love for humanity.
