Lavender Aura Quartz is natural quartz with an infusion of pure platinum and indium. The Natural Clear Quartz Point is placed in a pressurized chamber at high temperature and exposed to pure vaporized precious metal. The resulting bond creates the rich deep indigo blue- or purple color called Tanzan, Tanzine, Tanzanite/Lavender Aura. This bonding of the platinum and indium to natural clear quartz is permanent and never comes off as the molecular structure of each element is transformed.
