Handcrafted solid copper Celtic knot earrings featuring white natural tourmaline gemstones in the center. The Celtic knot is a significant symbol that is also referred to as the mystic or endless knot, and the symbolism behind it involves beginnings and endings, or according to another interpretation, no beginning and no end. The Irish copper earrings are oxidized to give it a vintage character.
These earrings are everyday earrings to treat yourself or a loved one!

Metals can develop patina over time if unused, and can be cleaned with a polishing cloth. Copper ages very nicely.
About Copper And Bronze:
Bronze/ Copper: these metals may discolor the skin green. It does not apply to everybody but please be aware that this might happen. I do seal all bronze and copper pendants with a special varnish or renaissance wax, but sealing might wear off after a certain time and need to be re-sealed.
Since the tarnishing process is facilitated by the oxygen in the air, it is advisable to keep your copper/ bronze jewelry in a plastic bag to slow down the formation of patina. You can also put an anti-tarnish strip in the bag.
The Celtic knot is a significant symbol that is also referred to as the mystic or endless knot, and the symbolism behind it involves beginnings and endings, or according to another interpretation, no beginning and no end.

The Shield Knot – to ward off negativity
The Shield Knot is one of the lesser-known but equally recognizable Celtic symbols. It was believed to have the power to ward away negativity and evil spirits from your home, as well as on the battlefield, as it is a Celtic symbol of strength. While this is a popular symbol in Celtic culture, the Shield Knot can be found across various cultures throughout the world over the last few thousand years. Regardless of where it is found, it’s associations of protection against danger and malevolence remain.
