Care Instructions: To preserve the beauty of your turquoise pendant, avoid exposing it to high heat or harsh chemicals, such as oils, perfumes, and household cleaners. Clean your turquoise gently with warm, soapy water, and dry it immediately with a soft cloth to maintain its vibrant color and shine.
Any surface finish on metals has a tendency to wear off. Especially very dark oxidation on smooth surfaces will wear off faster.

CARE TIPS
TURQUIOSE
Keep turquoise away from high heat and chemicals such as oils, perfumes, and household cleaners. Even stabilized turquoise can be affected by a constant bombardment of chemicals. Clean your turquoise in warm, sudsy water and dry it immediately with a soft cloth. Avoid using commercial jewelry cleansers.
Cleaning Turquoise:
- Dampen a clean, soft-bristled toothbrush in clean water. ...
- Gently scrub the surface of the stone with the brush. ...
- Dry the whole piece well with a soft towel. ...
- Polish the jewelry, especially metal parts, with a jewelry polishing cloth.
Turquoise can also change color naturally, usually becoming greener when exposed to moisture. This can occur when the stone is in the ground or when it is used in jewelry. The surface of a turquoise gem is very porous, which means it easily absorbs anything it comes into contact with, including color-altering chemicals. Keep this principle in mind while wearing turquoise rings and bracelets, since these jewelry pieces are exposed to anything the hand touches.
STERLING SILVER
Sterling silver can tarnish over time if left out. Please keep silver pieces in a baggy while not being worn, it will help slow tarnish. Polishing pads for silver can be purchased at most jewelry or hobby shops to give your silver a quick shine.
Avoid bringing jewelry into contact with perfume, hairspray or harsh chemicals such as bleach or chlorine. It is best to put jewelry on last while getting dressed and to remove while washing hands, performing housework, swimming, or engaging in other strenuous activity. It's not recommended to wear your gemstone jewelry around heat (stoves, ovens, saunas, etc) as it can permanently damage your gemstones.
